Final design fee depends on approximate property size, whether it is front yard, backyard or full property, number of revisions, and whether construction drawings are required — these are confirmed at consultation.
This calculator provides an early budget range only and is not a formal quote. Final pricing depends on site access, existing conditions, excavation, grading, drainage, material selections, engineering, permits, electrical and plumbing requirements, and the final approved design. Pricing is shown in Canadian dollars and excludes GST unless otherwise stated. A site consultation is required to provide an accurate proposal.

How We Build 3D Landscape Design
We begin with a consultation to learn about your property, your ideas, your goals, and your budget. From there, we create a design direction and provide a detailed, accurate project estimate within 30 days, so you understand the scope and value of the project before construction begins.
For larger or more detailed projects, we use 3D computer design and Oculus Quest technology to let you visualize the finished outdoor space before we break ground. Walking through your own backyard in 3D, before it exists, gives you a clearer understanding of layout, materials, grades, and how each element in the design works together. We work closely with you through the design process and make adjustments as needed until the plan feels right. We are happy to meet in person, by phone, or over Zoom, and we regularly work with homeowners who live out of town or are enhancing a vacation property. Once the design is approved, your project moves into the build phase with a dedicated Project Coordinator as your single point of contact from first sketch to final walkthrough.

Do I need a full 3D design before I can get a quote?
No. You can get a starting estimate with our cost calculator above, or book a consultation directly. A full 2D or 3D design is most useful for larger or more detailed projects where you want to see the layout, materials, and finishes before committing to construction.
What is the difference between the 2D and 3D design options?
A 2D bird’s-eye-view design shows the layout of your property from above, including hardscape areas, planting beds, and material selections. A 3D rendering builds on that same plan to show colours, textures, grades, and finished features the way they will actually look on your property.
What is the Oculus Quest walkthrough, and is it included in every design?

Can you work with my existing CAD drawings or landscape architect’s plans?
Yes. We regularly design from existing contractor CAD drawings, architect sketches, or inspiration photos. We can also start entirely from scratch if you do not have any plans yet.
