The Palfrey project centers on a bubbling stone-sphere fountainscape set into a river-rock bed just off the lawn, with ornamental grasses and flowering perennials planted around it, all visible from a black-and-timber covered pavilion with built-in seating and a ceiling fan.
A dry-stack river-rock retaining wall runs along the back of the property, and large stepping-stone pavers connect the pavilion to the lawn, giving the space a clear, deliberate path from covered seating to open turf to the water feature itself.
