The Summit Drive lighting design was built around a terraced hillside of timber steps and raised planter beds, with path lights and boulder up-lighting placed to define the route after dark rather than just brighten it.
Fixtures were positioned to highlight the ornamental grasses and accent boulders planted into the slope, so the lighting plan reads as part of the landscape design rather than an afterthought bolted on once the hardscape was finished.
